The IWUF officially announce the winners of IWUF Athlete of the Year 2024 on February 27, 2025 .
To recognize outstanding wushu athletes as excellent role models in the sport of wushu, and to better encourage more wushu talent to contribute to the development of global wushu, the International Wushu Federation establishes the Athlete of the Year Awards since 2022. The selection activity, which commenced in mid-November 2024, has received enthusiastic responses and support from the IWUF member federations. After being reviewed and approved by the Athletes' Committee, a total of 33 candidates from 15 countries and regions across five continents have entered the online voting phase for the IWUF 2024 Athlete of the Year . Following a month-long public voting period, five athletes have been ultimately selected to receive the honorary title of the IWUF Athlete of the Year 2024. The voting results and the list of award winners for the IWUF 2024 Athlete of the Year 2024 are hereby announced.
