Through a combination of online themed photo, text and video collection activities and offline themed activities, wushu enthusiasts were encouraged to carry out celebratory activities in accordance with various locations, attracting the participation of nearly 30 countries and regions from five continents around the world and demonstrating the vibrant development of the global wushu.

To highlight the achievements, the IWUF continued the World Wushu-Kungfu Day Awards in 2024, recognizing the various best WWKD events and celebrations around the world. In 2024, The Traditional Wushu Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic won the Best Small World Wushu-Kungfu Day award, the Royal Moroccan Wushu Federation won the Best World Wushu-Kungfu Day award and Liaoning Provincial Wushu Association won the Most Creative World Wushu-Kungfu Day award.
