14th Pan American Wushu Championships Concluded in USA

From August 29--September 2, the 14th Pan American Wushu Championships and the 1st Pan American Wushu Open Tournament were successfully held at the Santa Clara International Convention Center in Silicon Valley, USA. The event was organized by the Pan American Wushu Federation and hosted by the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation, attracting teams from 13 Pan American countries including Argentina, Brazil, and Canada, as well as teams from China, Singapore, and other countries. Guests including Anthony Goh, President of the Pan American Wushu Federation, and Wang Wenhui, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco, attended the opening ceremony.
 

Paraguay National Wushu Events

The Paraguayan Federation of Wushu Kung Fu has organized multiple exciting domestic competitions in 2024. On September 8, the Paraguay National Wushu Kungfu Tournament was held in San Lorenzo, attracting more than 130 participants from all over the country. On July 7, the Paraguay National Wushu Tournament - Tang Lang Quan Cup was concluded in San Antonio City, attracting 150 participants. On June 8, the Wushu Festival - Los Halcones Cup 2024 was concluded in San Lorenzo. The event attracted 100 participants from different cities in Paraguay. On April 14, the VIII Sanda National Championships - Dragon de Oro Cup 2024 was held in San Lorenzo City. This competition attracted 170 athletes to compete. On February 4, the National Wushu Kungfu Tournament - Garra de Tigre CapiatáCup 2024 was held in Capiata City. Mr. Gregorio Fernandez, President of the Paraguayan Federation of Wushu Kung Fu, attended the event. The competition attracted 150 participants.
 


2024 California International Wushu Championships

On May 27, the 2024 California International Wushu Championships and the U.S. National Wushu Team Trials were held at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley, California. The competition attracted 91 teams from across the United States and other countries, with 1,608 athletes participating. The scale of the event has reached a historical high, with over 5,000 participants over the three-day competition. This tournament served as the qualification trials for the United States national team, and the winners will represent the USA in various international events, including the World Junior Wushu Championships and the World Taijiquan Championships.
